April 25th to May 1st, 2023 is the 21st "Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law" publicity week in China. In order to enhance the occupational health awareness of enterprise employees and effectively protect their physical health, the Wujiang District Health Bureau of Shaoguan City visited the first floor of the comprehensive building of Guangdong Laya New Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. on the afternoon of April 25th to carry out an occupational disease prevention and control promotion activity with the theme of "improving working environment and conditions, protecting the physical and mental health of workers".



This event was taught by Dr. Fan Lingkai, Chief Physician of Shaoguan Institute of Occupational Health and Health Education, to provide training on occupational health and health education for employees of Laya.

At the beginning of the training, Dr. Fan Lingkai, the chief physician, conducted a publicity and interpretation on the laws, regulations, and policy guidelines of China's Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law.



Through the display of occupational disease images and annual population survey data of newly added occupational disease patients, Laya employees have a more intuitive understanding of some potential risk factors of occupational diseases in the production process of chemical enterprises, and have a deeper understanding of the serious consequences of occupational diseases.



In the face of various safety threats posed by occupational diseases, Dr. Fan Lingkai, the chief physician, provided in-depth and detailed explanations on the five major occupational disease prevention measures: "understanding of occupational disease hazards, occupational disease prevention measures, emergency rescue facilities, occupational health examinations, and personal protective equipment." Through video displays, Laya employees were further equipped with relevant self-protection measures.



This event also included a prize winning Q&A session, where incorrect protective measures were identified by observing the pictures, further consolidating the occupational disease prevention knowledge of Laya employees.

The prevention and control of occupational diseases are closely related to every employee. As a responsible enterprise, Laya will continue to implement the Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law, do a good job in occupational disease prevention and education, and effectively safeguard the occupational health rights and interests of all Laya employees.
