In order to promote the spirit of "love and dedication, hard work and dedication", further improve the labor skills of employees, fully stimulate and mobilize their work enthusiasm and creativity, the 2023 Laya Vocational Labor Skills Competition, sponsored by the Wujiang District Federation of Trade Unions and organized by Guangdong Laya New Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., was grandly held on the morning of July 13th. Members of the trade union committee, working group members, and participants from various projects attended the opening ceremony

At the conference, Li Jun, a member of the Laya Union, took the stage to announce the project of the employee labor skills competition and gave a detailed explanation of the competition rules and precautions.

This skills competition has rich content and is divided into five major projects, namely fire fighting skills, forklift skills, quick type change, manual film covering, and product defect selection.

Exciting Review

In the competition, each contestant was full of enthusiasm and chased after each other, creating a lively atmosphere on site. The contestants were fully focused and skilled in operation, fully demonstrating their excellent professional skills to the entire audience.

Firefighting skills

With the referee's command, each contestant quickly entered the state, shook the water hose forward, connected one end to the fire hydrant interface and the other end to the water gun, and aimed at the bucket to shoot, with a crisp and sharp action.


Forklift skills

During the competition, all the contestants demonstrated their proficient control skills, moving forward, backward, and turning, forking objects and bypassing one triangular road post after another. Their movements were cautious and smooth, which sparked bursts of applause on site.

Quick changeover

This competition is about changing the type of water bath on the production line. Each contestant showcased their unique skills and staged a great competition between efficiency and quality.



Manual coating

At the beginning of the competition, the contestants in the participating groups lined up in two rows, with clear division of labor and each performing their own duties. The front row was responsible for covering the film, and the back row was responsible for pasting labels. The entire competition proceeded in an orderly manner.

Product defect selection

During the competition, each contestant picked up the products to be inspected on stage for detailed inspection, picked out defective products, filled in the identification and description of the defective category, and pressed the identification card at the bottom of the defective product jar. The entire process lasted only 5 minutes, and the atmosphere on site was both tense and exciting.

Commending style


After two days of intense competition, the labor skills competition for employees finally came to a successful end, and each project was awarded the top three award winning groups.
